Conor McGregor Drops Hints Of Bidding The Octagon Farewell

We might have seen the last of Conor McGregor as a fighter following his megabout with Floyd Mayweather, Jr. where he reportedly got a guaranteed $30 million fight purse last August. This all depends on the UFC and if the organization is willing to give in to their champion’s new demands before he steps back inside the octagon.

The 29-year-old Irishman is apparently setting his sights on bigger goals after he revealed his plans during the premiere of his biopic Notorious in Dublin.

“They’ve got to entice me now because I came from a billion dollar fight so they’ve got to entice me... I want to be a true partner in this similar to the way I was in the Floyd fight. I was a promoter and I was a fighter. That must continue for me to continue. Otherwise, I have many entities and many other interests that I can carry on and also I’m already set,” he said.

Potential opponents for McGregor include longtime nemesis Nate Diaz, former boxing two-weight world champion Paulie Malignaggi, and UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson. But for now, McGregor seems content living the good life since his fight with Mayweather last August where both top fighters of their respective sports took home multi-million payouts.

Check out some of the Instagram posts below, where McGregor seems to be living the high life:
