Jammer Jamito's Hilarious Euro-Step Dunk Amuses 'The Starters'

You know a stunt is priceless when even the international media takes notice.

Such was the case for local player Jammer Jamito, whose side-splitting performance at the 2017 PBA All-Star Week caught the attention of basketball-themed show The Starters on NBA TV.

The seldom-used forward of the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel was part of the annual dunk contest that also featured crowd darling James Forrester and eventual champ Chris Newsome.

Onlookers were thrilled upon seeing Jamito pull 6'9" teammate Japeth Aguilar as a prop for his attempt during the competition's second round. The excitement turned into laughter as he casually executed Manu Ginobili's patented move before rising up for what seemed to be a mediocre jam.

Jamito received a total score of 37 from the judges' table, but more importantly, he won the collective glee and applause from a visibly entertained audience and his fellow players.

Newsome may have brought home the trophy, but even that doesn't compare to the honor of making it to The Starters host Trey Kerby's opening segment.

The fact that it drew giggles from co-presenters J.E. Skeets, Tas Melas, and Leigh Ellis makes Jamito's "fake jump-over-a-guy dunk" more special than any other high-flying feat during All-Star break.
