Two weeks removed from his historic final NBA game, Kobe Bryant gave his first post-retirement interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

We all know Kobe as one of the fiercest competitors the game of basketball had ever seen. Whether it was guarding the other team's best player or dropping a cool 50 on his man, the Black Mamba had been all business since Day One.

That is why seeing Kobe in a different light—talking with host Ellen about dancing or helping her with a hilarious prank—proved to be kind of refreshing and quite entertaining.

Now, if we could get Kobe with the NBA on TNT crew to mess around with former teammate Shaquille O'Neal that would be great.
