Just this week, basketball fans were treated to a rare sight after two legendary NBA players, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, reunited on the court. Jordan and Pippen played together in the mythical Chicago Bulls team that took home six championships during the ‘90s.

This time around, His Airness gave fans something to get excited about when he finally weighed in on a question basketball fans have been arguing for years on end: Just who is better between Kobe Bryant and LeBron James?

But before we get to Jordan’s pick, here’s a quick comparison of the two superstars’ great careers.

Bryant, better known as the Black Mamba, retired from the league after his 20th season last year. He has one league MVP (2008) and two Finals MVP awards (2009-2010). Most importantly, he won five NBA championships (2000-2002, 2009-2010) during his storied career with the Los Angeles Lakers.

On the other hand, James is poised to enter his 15th season in the NBA. The King has four league MVP (2009-2010, 2012-2013) and three Finals MVP titles (2012-2013, 2016).

James is also known for recently achieving feats, like making seven straight Finals appearances, passing Jordan as the all-time playoffs scoring leader and being the first player to average a triple-double in the NBA Finals. But despite these feats, he only has three NBA championships (2012-2013, 2016) between his stay with the Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

So who did Jordan pick? Sorry LeBron fans, but it’s still Kobe for the man many regard as the greatest NBA player of all time. During his Flight School summer camp, Jordan explained that it all comes down to how many rings you have.

“Would I rank LeBron over Kobe? In terms of best of all time? No. There’s something about five that beats three... Kobe won five championships. LeBron won three,” he said.

If you recall, Jordan was asked the same question back in 2013. Here’s his reply:
