FHM Nation, Manny Pacquiao is now officially a professional cager!
Our Pambansang Kamao made his much-anticipated PBA pre-season debut with the KIA Sorentos in a 77-88 loss to Blackwater Sports last Saturday, October 4, in Binan, Laguna. And you know what? He kinda did alright for himself!
One thing though: Isn't Manny supposed to coach the team as well? Bakit parang pumepetiks lang siya sa gilid? Good thing he still has time to right his wrongs.
So how did Manny fare in his first professional basketball game? Read on to know more about his performance!
Manny deserves a passing grade not only for helping Assistant Coach Glenn Capacio design plays, but also for not injecting himself in the starting lineup. To be honest, we thought otherwise.
STAMINA & ENDURANCE: A+
Much to the crowd's delight, Pacquiao finally subbed himself early in the second quarter. Look at him go—not that different from a puppy being let go from its leash, right?
DEFENSIVE AWARENESS: B-
A three-pointer right in Manny's face? It looks like opponents don't respect his defense! In all fairness to the dude who took the shot, he's virtually ten times taller than Pac-Man.
