American boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. isn’t messing around when it comes to wanting to square it out with UFC superstar Conor McGregor after announcing that he was coming out of retirement to face the Irish man.

During a press conference over the weekend, the undefeated boxer who retired in 2015 with an unblemished 49-0 record finally issued a direct challenge to McGregor to make their fight happen.

“For Conor McGregor, I’m coming out of retirement just to fight. I don’t want to hear no more excuses about the money, about the UFC. Sign the paperwork with the UFC so you can fight me in June. Simple and plain, let’s fight in June,” he said.

Shortly after this, T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas was reported to have reserved their venue for a fight night in June.

McGregor and Mayweather have been at it for months with the UFC superstar initially challenging Mayweather to a boxing match. However, both camps have not come to terms mainly due to money issues with McGregor asking for a $100 million pay day.

Mayweather has so far offered $15 million to McGregor just for him to agree to fight. UFC President Dana White meanwhile offered both fighters a guaranteed $24 million plus pay-per-view earnings.
