Things are about to get more interesting, after the NBA and the National Basketball Players Association reportedly have agreed to televise the "playground-style" draft for the 2019 All-Star Game in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Last year, the new format was introduced, where the two captains—the leading vote-getter from each conference—picked from the league's cream of the crop to form the best team possible. LeBron, who is now with the Los Angeles Lakers in the West and was against making the selection public last time around, seems to have warmed up to the idea.

“It’s All-Star weekend,” he told the Los Angeles Times. “You got 24 of the best players in the world that’s going to make the team. It doesn’t matter if you’re first or last, you’re 24 of the best in the world at that point in time. I don’t think it’ll be bad. We’ll see.”
