This week's Monday is definitely no ordinary Monday. The 2014 NBA All-Star Game, held in New Orleans, made sure of that. Featuring the best (or at least the most fan-pleasing) basketball players on planet NBA today, the East's beasts and the best of the West faced off in a highlights-filled exhibition game that ended with the East winning, 163-155.

Some of us tuned in online, constantly refreshing our browsers for the latest scores. Some of us found illicit web streams. And a good number probably called in sick to stay home and watch in the comforts of their own ratty sofa.

Whichever way you consumed the mid-season exhibition though, chances are, it's all you'll be making chismis about at the next inuman session. Below are the nine players who you'll start praising/destroying with the words "Pare, grabe yung..."

1) "...Kyrie Irving na yun. Akala mo kung sinong beterano eh!"

The young Cleveland Cavalier captain, and newly crowned All-Star Game MVP, did enough to justify his All-Star start, but more importantly, contributed further to the still ongoing erasure of Cleveland's memory of LeBron James.

Stat-spotting: 31 points on 14-of-17 shooting, 14 dimes, and one MVP trophy. 

2) " Durant, ayaw papigil umiskor!"

Speaking of players who are on a mission to somehow overshadow LeBron, Kevin Durant continued his scoring tear as he scored 38 points, thus making him the only player in the game's history to have scored 30 or more points in at least four games.
