Game 1 of the 2015 NBA Finals is over, and although they got off to a surprisingly slow start, the Golden State Warriors were able to turn back the Cleveland Cavaliers at home, 108-100 in overtime.

Thanks to the heckuva game we just witnessed, social media (as expected) went absolutely bananas and overflowed with die-hard fandom and hilarious commentary. The result: a shitload of memes that portray the epic hoops battle in a new, LOL-worthy light. To put it simply, one wrong or head-scratching move, and you're instantly a meme!

With that, FHM gathered all the funniest and most thumbs up-worthy memes, videos, etc. and crammed it all in this one-of-a-kind CLE-GSW NBA Finals Game 1 recap!

Except from 16 points from fellow starter Timofey Mozgov, the Big Two (with Kyrie Irving) essentially carried the whole team's offensive load, which was bound to run on empty in the extra period—going 1-0f-9.

JR Smith was their lone bench scorer—just nine points in 3-of-13 shooting. James Jones, whom LeBron identified himself with Mike Miller (DNP) as the real "Big Three," attempted just a single shot.

In the case of the other starters, Tristan Thompson may have had a game-high 15 rebounds, with six on the offensive end, but none of those translated to baskets (he finished with two points). And then you have Iman Shumpert doing stuff like this:

Going back to Kyrie, things for the All-Star point guard, who has been playing through left knee tendinitis, may have gotten worse. Just as he was putting on what looked like his best defensive work of the season (four steals and two blocks, including one clutch swat off Stephen Curry), the 2011 top pick seemed to have aggravated his injury and went down late in OT.

Kidding aside, we wish Uncle Drew a speedy recovery so we'll be assured of another epic game, with both teams going at full strength! We just hope attention-seekers like this one below don't kill the vibe:

Wait, what?

Aside from that sluggish opening quarter, things went according to plan for the Western Conference champs. They managed to keep things close during regulation, and then turned it up in the extra five minutes (10-0 start).

There were more highlights than memes with the Dubs, but one sequence worth mentioning was Andre Iguodala's shoeless three.

Iggy wasn't just knocking down shoeless bombs, he also had the unenviable task of containing a rampaging LeBron most of the game. In the end, he more than held his own, forcing the best player on the planet to some tough shots and even putting up a respectable 15 markers.

The reigning MVP was his usual cookin' self, coming up big at times he's needed. And why wouldn't he be inspired, for aside from the whole Bay Area, his bundle of joy, little Riley, got his back:

What's not to love about her?

So with that, we'll have to endure another two days before the next tip-off, with Game 2 set on Monday (June 8, Manila time). Expect Cleveland to do some extra work, for they don't want to fall into a 0-2 hole.

Here's what motivational speaker Shia LaBeouf has to say to both teams:
