Our Gilas Pilipinas ballers just passed by Kazakhstan in the 2018 Asian Games with a tornado kind of performance as they finished with a 37-point deficit. At the final buzzer, it was 96-59 in favor of Gilas.

Sadly, there was no sign of Jordan Clarkson...until the third quarter. With one minute left in the quarter, Clarkson arrived in the arena, and our team suddenly had a pep in their step, and were driven na magpakitang gilas.

But even just in the first quarter, Gilas was already out and running both on offense and defense, putting up a 12-2 run in the first 3 minutes of the game. At the end of the quarter, Gilas led by 7 points with a score of 16-9. Of those 9 points by Kazakhstan, 7 were made from the free throw line because of Gilas' early foul trouble.

And from then on, it was all Gilas until the end with some intermittent scoring from Kazakhstan. Everyone in the lineup actually contributed with Stanley Pringle living up to big expectations, scoring a team-high 18 points by picking Kazakhstan’s defense apart with his ball-handling, attacking the basket, and efficient scoring.
