At 32 years old, Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks is the elder statesman in the United States men's national basketball team.
If back then he was among the youngest guns on the 2008 Redeem Team, with the likes of Chris Paul and LeBron James, Melo is now the team captain and arguably the face of this ultra-loaded squad.
It's understandable that he comes across as a bit serious, especially with the brunt of responsibility falling on his shoulders. (As if there is a team alive that can beat them...)
Having called out recently by head coach Mike Krzyzewski for having "a little bit too much fun" in games, Team USA decided to bring the merrymaking off the court.
During a flight, members DeMar Derozan (26), Jimmy Butler (26), and Kyrie Irving (24) let off some steam—probably after an intense practice—to the tune of Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles."
It was all fun and games, some even danced and laughed...until they turned the camera to Melo.
Come on, man. Terry Crews will not be amused.
