Two-time NBA champion Ray Allen, Jr. is now in the Philippines for an unannounced visit to the country. But guess what? Even the retired sharpshooter with all his fast break moves couldn’t escape Metro Manila’s heavy traffic—or at least the eyesore it brings—which affects Pinoys from all walks of life each day.

In a post on his Instagram, an adventurous Allen shared how he and a buddy were greeted by the traffic while they were doing some early morning runs in the unfamiliar neighborhood of Makati City.

Allen also posted his boarding pass earlier, which showed he was fresh from a trip to Hong Kong and was en route to Manila.

Apparently, Allen was in Hong Kong to attend the 2017 Sneaker Con, which features tons of limited edition and signature shoes.

So far, no details on his Manila visit have been revealed, but it’s possible that Allen may have come to the country in advance to join LeBron James for an exhibition show which will happen this September 2 at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
