A couple of decades ago, a kid from Providence College introduced a peculiar dribble move to the basketball world.

Despite an NBA career not panning out for him (played just 20 games for the Washington Wizards), God Shammgod has no doubt left an imprint to the game, in the form of his namesake crossover.

The Shammgod paved the way for the likes of Chris Paul and Kyrie Irving to not only be unguardable ballers, but also ultimate showmen.

As a tribute to the pioneer of the real killer crossover, we grade all the rare sightings of the ooh-aah-inducing handle in the ongoing NBA season.

3) Chris Paul

Victim(s): Nik Stauskas, Richaun Holmes

Significance: ensuing jumper tied the game, but only during the third quarter

As the master of the Shammgod-pullup, we wouldn't expect less from CP3 himself. The fact that the Los Angeles Clippers guard has caught defenders off guard on a consistent basis makes him such a fascinating specimen.

Score: 7

2) John Wall

Victim(s): Al-Farouq Aminu, Mo Harkless, Mason Plumlee

Significance: assisted on a Marcin Gortat layup that extended the lead to 30, with four and a half minutes left in the 3rd

The Washington Wizards have turned the court into their playground with the way they're playing as of late (Eastern Conference third seed), with Wall leading the charge. This one could've gone higher, if not for Gortat's 'love tap.'

Score: 8.5

1) Russell Westbrook

Victim(s): Tyler Ulis, Marquese Chriss

Significance: passed to Steven Adams for his 22nd dime that night

Easily the best because it capped a career night for Russ in assists. This highlight is just a speck, though, compared the historic season that Westbrook is currently enjoying. Should've been a 10 if he slammed it in Chriss's face.

Score: 9.5
