Nate Robinson is no longer in the NBA. He tried getting into the NFL but it didn't happen. Instead, he's now in Israel where he just dropped 20-plus points for the Israeli Club, Hapoel Tel Aviv. He's still got that baller's blood.
Then, during an interview with Israel's Sport5 last Monday, something strange happened: Some shirtless cyclist came up to him and challenged him right there and then. With a level of braggadocio that would elicit a punch from us, the dude challenged the former Slam Dunk Contest champ to a one-on-one contest, boasting, “I beat [NBA alum Jordan] Farmar, [Yogev] Ohayon, I beat everyone on Maccabi [Tel Aviv]."Robinson though played it cool after the little confrontation: "Now that's an interview. Awesome. First time ever somebody's done that. Sick. So cool. Fans are great! How can you be mad at that?"
According to Yahoo! however, the guy wasn't just some random guy. He was actually Raz Nisim Cohen, a 6'2" guard who played one year with the pro Second League team Ironi Ashkelon.
We're not too worried about Nate though. The spitfire guard said "I'll bust his ass" after the interview.
