It won’t be long before cigarette breaks, drinking sessions, or random elevator encounters transform into intense arguments about how, for instance, Lebron really should have taken that last shot himself in crucial Game 7.
The 2012 NBA Playoffs starts April 29 after a lockout-shortened 66-game season that saw, among other things, the rise (and unfortunate lost to injury) of Jeremy Lin; Dwight Howard’s trade drama; and Metta World Peace’s recent seven-game suspension following a nasty in-game incident executed in classic Ron Artest form. In short, a season not lacking in stories.
Things only get better from here up to climactic June when the Finals take place. The match-ups are all set, players are pumped, and NBA fans are primed to see amazing happen again.
