You know what this means? The Tamaraws and the NU Bulldogs, who had to overcome the Ateneo Blue Eagles' twice to beat advantage, will be going for the title in this year's UAAP Finals. Congratulations in advance, you guys!

Interestingly enough, this marks the first time in 21 years that a UAAP Finals series will not involve Ateneo or La Salle. It's like the end of an era, right?

The Green Archers toppled the UST Growling Tigers in Game 1, 77-74, but went on to lose the next two games in their best-of-three series. It is worth noting that UST swept the elimination round just a year prior, so there's no shame in losing to the mighty Tigers.

After winning Game 1 against UST, La Salle once again failed to finish the UAAP Finals series and succumbed to the Tigers, 67-64, in Game 3.

Did we mention that the Tigers went on a four-peat back in the '90s? Third time did not prove to be the charm as UST once again defeated La Salle in two games. For some reason, the Archers just couldn’t get it done!
