The new season of the UAAP's Women's Volleyball tournament finally begins this Sunday, December 1, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum!

We're pretty bummed that Michelle Gumabao and Gretchen Ho will not be returning this year, but the good news is there's a new batch of talented cutie pies worth watching all season! Scroll down to see who made our short list:

Mika Reyes - De La Salle University

It's not hard not to notice the charming Mika Reyes of La Salle. Aside from her pretty face, the 5-foot-11 middle attacker always astonishes her audience with her talent. Dubbed the "Taft Tower," the third year player has emerged as the cornerstone of the three-time defending champion Lady Spikers.

Alyssa Valdez - Ateneo de Manila University

Warning to all UAAP Women's VBall rooks: Alyssa is one tough cookie. Never expect an easy spike from Ateneo's third year open spiker—lest you want a ball to the face (stop imagining it, perverts!). The hard hitting Batangas native, who has brought the Katipunan-based squad to the Finals for two straight years, will again carry the Lady Eagles beneath her, uhm, wings (sorry, we couldn't resist it).

Gyzelle Sy - Far Eastern University

Gyzelle might be small but her big plays makes her teammates (and herself) look good. Appointed as this year's FEU team captain, the veteran setter brings stability (and a really cute ate vibe) to the Lady Tams' attack.

Pamela Lastimosa - University of Santo Tomas

The name might not ring a bell as loudly as Gretchen Ho, but UST's Pamela Lastimosa has already carved her name in the volleyball scene. Niece of basketball great Jojo and sister of Barako Bull rookie Carlo, the Cagayan de Oro native will try to bring the vball glory back to España.
