Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a pretty unpredictable sport.

No amount of training can guarantee a fighter of a W at the end of the day. It takes more than skill and heart to bring an equally driven opponent down.

For MMA fighter Ryan Bader, a good opening couldn't have come at a better time.

Over the weekend at UFC Fight Night Hamburg, the American light heavyweight was pitted against Swedish Ilir Latifi, who bears the monicker, "The Sledgehammer."

Things weren't looking good for Bader to start the match, being on the wrong end of a knockdown. The second round was a different story, though.

At the 2:06 mark, a perfectly timed knee to the head turned Latifi into Buster, you know, that crash test dummy the MythBusters use...

Bader (22-5) bounced back from a KO loss to Anthony Johnson, while Latifi, aside from having his three-fight winning streak snapped, might just want to check his noggin for a dent.
