The play where Vince Carter became the 22nd player NBA player to reach 25,000 career points couldn't be more fitting: a last-second dunk against his former team, the Toronto Raptors.

His current squad, the Atlanta Hawks, may have lost at home, 124-108, but the game was all about the 41-year-old's milestone. Carter's 14 points (5-15 fg, 2-7 3pt) off the bench gave him 25,001 in his 21st season. He gave the Raptors a shout-out, telling ESPN, "I'm very thankful for every team that I've played for. But there's nothing like your first."
