After an eventful knockout round, we’re down to the last eight teams (BRA v COL, GER v FRA, ARG v CRC, NED v BEL) in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The quarters begin this midnight (that's Saturday, July 5, 12 a.m.), but the break definitely left us feeling a bit football-deprived. Sure, we're only a few hours away from two possibly tense, will-make-you-pee-a-bit-in-excitement games (Brazil takes on Columbia in the first match, then Germany faces France at 4 a.m.), but nobody can die from too much football, right?

Hence, FHM's massive highlight reel of everything funny, goal-y, sexy, and GIF-worthy that happened from Day 1 to 16! Better sit down before you scroll down, bro, this one promises to be a doozy!

PART I: CELEBRATIONS!

Intense!

The new GOAT of coach celebrations: Mexico’s Miguel Herrera!

And since we're on the topic of hammy-necked men wilding out, here is a pumped-up Algeria fan!

Risky…

Germany's Miroslav Klose celebrates tying the all-time World Cup goal record with a trademark front flip–and almost kills himself.

Cute!

France’s Mathieu Valbuena (small man) and Olivier Giroud (much bigger man) team up for one of the most “Aww...” celebrations possible.

Breathtaking

And of course, you got to have those Latino “GOOOOOOL!” calls
