Bear Grylls is a crazy dude. He drinks water from elephant shit. He uses camel corpses as shelter. He rappels off of waterfalls. He consumes frogs, rattlesnakes, and hellish-looking bugs. [firstpara] He does all of these to survive, using whatever resources he finds in the places where his sadistic producers dropped him off. That he’s alive is one of the biggest mysteries of modern civilization.
For fans of the Man Vs. Wild series, you better be glad that Bear is still alive, otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to do Man Vs. Wild 4, which only started airing on The Discovery Channel last November 16.
So what can we expect from the latest season of this amusingly gross show? Man Vs. Wild 4 has five episodes in store for you, where we’ll see Bear Grylls trek the most life-threatening terrain, complete with uncooperative weather situations, hungry predators, and of course, unwitting prey (and if you’ve watched Bear Grylls, everything is prey for him).
He’ll visit the unfriendly jungles of Vietnam, the far regions of Alaska, the scorching deserts of Southwestern Texas, and the frigid Arctic Circle. Bear will have to once again, use all his might and wits to survive, and hopefully, give us Man Vs. Wild 5 in the future.
Gritty, shocking, and just plain crazy, Man Vs. Wild 4 will make all your own adventures look pale by comparison. Hail Bear Grylls, the Chuck Norris of extreme outdoor survival.
You can catch the show every Monday at 7:00 am and 4:00 pm, Tuesday at 1:00 am and 5:00 am, Wednesday at 3:00 am and 10:00 am, Friday at 5:00 pm and Saturday at 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
