Aside from Attack on Titan, perhaps the most popular mainstream anime of the past few years has been One-Punch Man. It was a show that people who don't normally watch anime would talk about—and even those who didn't watch it must remember all those "Saitama workout" posts, of course. Twelve episodes wasn't a lot in this age of binge watching though, so we are excited to see our bald hero return in season two.
Saitama is stronger than ever and now officially a member of the Hero Federation alongside cyborg buddy Genos. A prediction that the Earth is doomed seems to be coming true as monsters attack with increasing frequency—but Saitama will still knock them back to wherever they came from in a single hit, of course...or would he? A new character to watch out for is Garou, who is described as a man fascinated with monsters.
The rumored release date is April 2019! Why did it take so long? Well, they had to let the manga get ahead of the show to avoid filler episodes, which is the opposite of what usually happens.
