Fans of spooky television should be familiar enough with Eric Kripke’s Supernatural, which stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as the demon and monster-hunting Sam and Dean Winchester—two brothers with a strong liking for dishing out punishment to paranormal creatures that threaten our worldly peace. Compelling though those elements may be, the show’s sprinkling of a little lightheartedness on the sides has kept the series from getting stale and boring.

Lucifer is indeed a scary foe, but wait ‘til you get a load of the most remorseless tooth fairy the television world has ever seen, who’s out to extract every single tooth from everyone.

Now, that’s good TV.
