So you’ve spent countless mindless hours sitting in front of your computer, eyes totally glued to the screen as you watch hours and hours of the craziest and zaniest videos that YouTube has to offer.

From the world’s most outrageous and death-defying stunts such as jumping off the highest peaks to acts that are downright bizarre like devouring the world’s hottest chili, we’re pretty sure that these insane videos have left you on the edge of your seats, aching for more of these fantastic time-wasters. What would make things even more fantastic is if we can get to know the what’s, why’s and how’s involved in the making of said videos.

Every one of us Youtube addicts are about to get just that because premiering on Discovery Channel is You Have Been Warned, a six-part series that collects all these crazy videos and explains them with science! With the help of a panel of experts—physicists, biologists, rocket scientists, and all manners of smart science dudes—from all over the globe, the show will dissect the videos through experiments, presented in a way non-scientists can understand. We're talking about us, the average Youtubers. 

You Have Been Warned is watching the wacky, the uncanny, and the bizarre through informed lens. You can catch it on Discovery Channel beginning Friday, November 16 at 10 p.m., with encores every Monday at 4 p.m., Wednesday at 9 p.m., Thursday at midnight and 2 p.m., Saturday at 9 a.m., 3 p.m. and 11 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m. Consider yourself informed.
