Forty days of fasting and abstinence—including a solid three days without meat—can make a man hangry. You've fulfilled your Christian duty, so we're pretty sure Jesus wouldn't mind if you eat up a storm on the day of his rising. And since we believe that Easter perfectly coinciding with payday is a sign from the heavens to go forth and feed, we've listed below the best buffets in town for every budget. Check them out:
IF YOUR BUDGET IS P500 AND BELOW:
Abstaining from meat—even if it's just for three days—is a big sacrifice. HUGE. And we can't think of a better reward than by indulging in all the barbecued meat we can cram in our bellies at Charaptor's Makati branch. Here, lunch, dinner and holiday rates are at a very manageable P490 per adult, letting you indulge guilt-free.
Charaptor's Makati Branch is located at 9755 Kamagong St. cor. Sampaloc St., Brgy. San Antonio, Makati.
For the hungry South folks out there, there's Bigplate at BF Homes Paranaque. At P328 for a three-hour lunch buffet, you're bound to head home with a happy tummy and an equally happy wallet. Looking for an even better bargain? Their daily merienda buffet is from 3 PM to 6 PM and has a miraculously low price tag of P198. If it were located anywhere near our office, we'd probably be there every day.
Bigplate is located at Elizalde cor. President's Ave., BF Homes Paranaque, Paranaque City.
IF YOUR BUDGET IS P1,000 AND BELOW:
There's a reason why we'd keep going to DADS and its sister restaurants Kamayan, Saisaki, and Sambo Kojin during special occasions: their buffets are extensive while remaining pretty affordable—you can avail of their lunch or dinner buffet for P888 on weekends and holidays. Visit during Easter for pakulo like egg painting and egg hunting for the kids (and kids at heart!).
DADS World Buffet has branches at SM Megamall, Glorietta 3, EDSA, Padre Faura, and West Avenue.
This party spot is offering a great Easter lunch buffet priced at P950 for adults, inclusive of free-flowing non-alcoholic drinks. You can also get a chance to win tickets to SM Storyland, Sky Ranch, SM By The Bay Amusement Park, or round-trip plane tickets via SkyJet Airlines.
Buddha Bar Manila is located at PICAR Place, Kalayaan Ave., Brgy. Poblacion, Makati City.
IF YOUR BUDGET IS P1,500 AND BELOW:
We're really pushing the P1,500 benchmark here (the total would be P1,509—oops.), but the variety of food is worth it, and their many promos sweeten the deal further. Visit on Easter with the fam so the young ones can join their egg hunt!
Niu by Vikings is located at 6/F SM Aura, 26th St cor McKinley Parkway, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.
End Easter on a very sweet note at The Peninsula Manila's Dessert and Chocolate Buffet! From 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM on April 13 to 16, you can gobble up as many sugary treats as you can for only P1,199 per adult—a total steal, considering the quality of the Manila Pen's sweets.

IF YOUR BUDGET IS P2,500 AND BELOW:
Three words: unlimited Wagyu Beef. That's the main draw of Crimson Hotel's Angry Birds-themed Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet, which is priced at P1,630 per adult. Not a beef person? They also have fresh seafood, cheeses, desserts, and international dishes at your tummy's disposal.
Crimson Hotel is located at Entrata Urban Complex, 2609 Civic Drive, Filinvest City Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
A consistent topnotcher on “best buffet” lists, it's hard to beat Cafe Ilang Ilang in terms of service, variety, and quality. At P2,400 per adult for Sunday Brunch and P2,450 per adult for Sunday dinner, it's not exactly affordable. But if you're there for a special occasion (like Easter!), it's totally worth your hard-earned cash. Make it lighter on the pocket by taking advantage of their promos—if you find a coupon at a discount site, snatch it up ASAP!
The Manila Hotel is located at One Rizal Park, Manila.
IF YOUR BUDGET IS SKY'S THE LANGIT:
Impressions' Festive Lunch Buffet is a foodie's wet dream, with U.S. Certified roasted Angus rib eye, glazed baby back ribs, roasted lamb leg, and more droolworthy eats, all prepared by Chef Cyrille Soenen, up for your dining pleasure. What, you think we'd end this list without mentioning Spiral?! Of course we're not gonna do that. Indulge at their 21 dining ateliers on April 16 for P4,500 net per adult for Easter Brunch (inclusive of a ticket to Sofitel's Heroes' Quest Easter Egg Hunt) or P3,800 net per adult for Easter dinner. Not feeling the hefty price tag? Head there from the 13th to the 15th and get 30% off for lunch and dinner. You think Jesus would mind if we celebrate his resurrection a few days early?
