Some things simply can't be changed. Your height, for instance. If you're short, well, good luck trying to find a medical procedure that can magically make you into a June Mar Fajardo clone. When it comes to clothes, though, there are a few things that you can do to make you appear sleeker. Here are eight of them!
1) WEAR CLOTHES THAT FIT
Baggy clothes make you look wider. Avoid them. Wear shirts and other tops that cling to your form, from the shoulders to your waist.. Do the same for your bottoms, and keep it slim. Take a look at the difference:

The idea is to draw the attention to your upper body, and distract them from how short your legs seem. You can go with glasses, hats and necklaces. Keep it simple and limit to one or two pieces at most.
3) PICK ONE COLOR
A monochromatic get-up prevents you from breaking up your body into different segments, thus giving you a stronger, sleeker look. If you can't help but mix and match, keep the darker shades for the bottoms and the lighter ones for your top.

4) BUT DON'T GO WITH ALL BLACK
Black, strangely, has a habit of shrinking you down. If you want to go dark, opt for an all–blue or charcoal gray–outfit, instead.
5) GO WITH V-NECKS
V-neck tees elongate the neck and give the illusion of length. The deeper the V, the better. Just don’t go so deep that your nipples start to show.

6) DON'T WEAR SHIRT THAT PASS BY YOUR HIP BONE
We know it's pretty hard to find a tee with the perfect length when you're short. So, here's the trick: Tuck it in. It will give you a slimmer look and make your legs look longer. Anything big will swallow you up.
7) MAKE SURE YOUR PANTS AREN'T LONG
Don't wear pants that go past your ankles. It looks sloppy whatever your height is. It's an even more important concern for shorter guys because, again, it’s drawing the attention downward. As we've mentioned above, we want to keep the eyes to your body. Shorter pants that expose more of your shoes can also help you make you taller.

8) INVEST IN TAILORING
Fit is everything when it comes to looking taller, and there's no other person that can help you with it than your good ol sastre. They can help you emphasize the right lines, and hide the bad ones. Yes, it will cost you, but trust us, you'll look and feel good, shawty.
