JanSport, the makers of the iconic mono-colored backpacks we all wanted in high school, has collaborated with surf-and-outdoor apparel brand Hippy Tree. The collaborative effort resulted in three limited edition bags called "The Westward Collection" which includes the "Watchtower" (P 5,990), the "Hatchet" (P 4,990) and the "Outbreak" (P 3,490).

All rucksacks feature color blocks of navy and brown and a printed interior liner.

Look:

The "Watchtower" (leftmost) is for you if you've got major lugging requirements. It has a padded sleeve design to protect 15-inch laptops, a waterproof pocket up top and a detachable pouch for accessories.

The "Hatchet" (middle) has a similar set of features but has a less boxy appearance and water bottle pockets. The "Outbreak" is the most traditional-looking of the three, featuring an easy-access front-zippered pocket on the front.

They're bags. They carry things. The choice, really, comes down to your own sense of style.

The collection is now available at BratPack One Archer’s Place, BratPack Greenbelt 5, BratPack Shangri-la, BratPack Alabang Town Center, and BratPack U.P. Town Center and online via JanSport.com.ph.
