Sea-loving, wave-stalking beach bums now have a premium place to shop for all things Billabong, as the popular water-sports brand has opened their first official store in the country last May 12, 2011.[firstpara]
The store, located at the Powerplant Mall in Rockwell, Makati, is all set to house all the best that the brand has to offer. From nautical shirts, Bob Marley-inspired tank tops, board shorts, to surfboards, and even long boards, the shop is a piece of heaven for fans of the brand, and for anyone who wants to straddle along beautiful Philippine shores rocking the high-quality offerings of Billabong.

Likewise, the store, which has been described as “a true articulation of boardsports and youth lifestyle culture for the Philippines,” will be carrying other brands that share Billabong’s spirited image. These include the aforementioned long boards made by Sector 9, Nixon watches and accessories, and Von Zipper sunglasses, to name a few. The store also has a special Billabong Girl’s section, currently highlighted by the store-exclusive Billabong Girls Summer ’11 collection.

Last but not the least, the store’s debut also marks the launch of Billabong Asia’s VIP program in the country, which will grant members a 10% discount on all regular-priced Billabong products in all participating stores in Asia; a special 30% discount coupon for the whole month of birthday celebrants; and special invites to invites and competitions, among others. How does one get in? It’s very simple, although a little bit of “investment” is required. Entry to the VIP programs requires a single-receipt purchase of P10,000.

Steep? Don’t balk before you check out the products below!
