Other than the iconic three stripes logo, adidas is also known for its celebrity collaborations when it comes to footwear. And no entertainment-slash-fashion personalities in the fold are bigger than artists Kanye West and Pharrell Williams.
The two rappers have established their affiliation with the brand through the Yeezy (2015) and NMD 'Human Race' (2016) collections, respectively. Recently, both West and Williams came out with fresh releases, to the delight of avid sneakerheads.
The Life of Pablo progenitor has been seen in an all-black sillhoutte of the Yeezy Boost 700, whose original version called the 'Wave Runner' is the only colorway that is currently available. Despite the bulky style, there's no question about its comfort, being equipped with a full-length Boost sole. Plus, who doesn't love a monochromatic pair?
The 700s are expected to be out next year, like the 550 and Yeezy's basketball variant.
The "Happy" hitmaker, on the other hand, must have been to the mountains of Los Angeles these days, as seen in his newest line, the NMD 'Human Race' Trail. Sharing the brightness of his Supercolor Superstar pack, the Hu series is made for the outdoors with its earthy look, as well as the Primeknit and Boost technologies.
The Pharrell x adidas NMD "Human Race" Trail will be released on November 11 at Sole Academy BGC via a Facebook Live raffle release draw. Click here for additional instructions.
