The Japanese fast fashion giant’s progressive little sublabel is headed by former Hermès creative director Christophe Lemaire, and it’s been churning out some of the best clothes of its price range over the past few seasons.
The Summer 2018 collection of Uniqlo U is set to drop here in the Philippines this Friday, January 26, and there’s a lot to look forward to. It’s a very broad collection, with lightweight clothes in a range of bright and summery colors—much more wearable than the previous Fall collection, which featured thick knits and outerwear that weren’t suited to our tropical climate. Standout pieces that are sure to fly off the shelves quickest are the Harrington jacket, the open collar short-sleeved shirts, and the striped tees. Here are some of the collection’s highlights:
Harrington jacket (P3,490)
Pocketable coat (P3,990)
Cotton full-zip parka (P2,990)
Cotton jacket (P2,990)
Wide fit tapered pants (P1,990)
Hickory oversized shirt (P1,490)
Open collar shirt (P990 for solids, P1,490 for stripes)
Supima cotton open-collar polo (P1,490)
T-shirts (P590 to P990)
Wide fit tapered jeans (P1,990)
Straight ankle chino (P1,990)
The Summer 2018 collection of Uniqlo U will be available on January 26, 2018. The full collection drops in SM Megamall; select items will drop in select stores.
