Nagmamantika” is a word that we loathe to hear about our face.

[firstpara]
We don’t mean to be vain and all but when our faces become so oily that you can fry an egg over it, then something has to be done.

Unless, of course, you want girls to avoid making beso with you.

Here’s what you can do:

1) Exfoliate
Sure, exfoliating is not something you’d talk over beer with your buddies, but it’s also something that’s quite a necessity for men with excessively oily skin.

Oil makes your skin more prone to clogging, which results in acne and pimples. So to help unclog those spores, you need to exfoliate by using a mildly abrasive implement such as a sponge or a loofah.

2) Choose the right facial cleanser
Facial cleansers are a dime a dozen. But if oil is the biggest concern, then you should choose a specially formulated cleanser that not only cleans, but helps control the ill effects of oil on skin as well.

One such cleanser is the L'Oreal Paris Men Expert Pure & Matte Charcoal Black Foam. Enriched with Salicylic Acid, this product rids the skin of excess sebum and dull dead cells, which helps make skin cleaner and clearer for a longer time.

The formulation also utilizes L’Oreal’s ADS Active Defense System, which protects the skin against harsh elements that take advantage of oily skin. You’ll also feel fresh and clean after using the product thanks to its fine foaming texture that ensures skin that’s free from all impurities.

3) Lessen sun exposure
Too much sun plus too much oil is never a good thing. The sun’s UV rays can worsen your oily skin, and make it easier for your skin to have blemishes. Do what you can to avoid having to be under the sun for extended periods of time.

4) Watch what you eat
You are what you eat. What goes in your body, naturally should also come out. That means that if you eat food that is too fatty, oily or greasy, you also end up becoming oilier, and greasier than you already are.

On the other hand, if you eat healthy and drink enough water, your skin becomes fresher and healthier. Adopting a high-fiber diet should be good to your skin, too; fiber, after all helps your body rid of any excess, oil including.
