Sneaker-wearing peeps of FHM Nation, kilala niyo ba si Stan Smith? If you're a tennis fan, we bet you do!
For those who don't play the sport though, Stan Smith is an American tennis player way back in the '60s and '70s. He won two Grand Slams (the Wimbledon and the US Open), cementing his status as one of the best in the sport. Dude's a legend.

And what better way to prove you're a sporting great than have a shoe named after you, right? In 1971, adidas renamed its tennis shoe as the "Stan Smith," and the move paid dividends. It became the brand's best-selling shoe of all time, with over 40 friggin' million pairs sold worldwide. As we've said, dividends.

After a brief hiatus, the adidas Stan Smith returns this 2014, and we say it's about damn time. The shoe, which has transitioned from the tennis court to the street as a casual sneaker, has been improved with new colorways. The classic white leather upper now has three different heel tab colors (red, blue, green).
A more modern-looking color suede version will also be available in green, red, and blue. However, all Stan Smiths will retain that classic, semi-retro look that fans have grown to love.
