Thursday's San Miguel-Alab Pilipinas victory not only saw the national side stretch its winning streak to six at the 2017-18 Asean Basketball League season, but also nab the third seed from opponent Thailand's Mono Vampire with a 9-4 win-loss record.

The Thai team is one of the PH ball club's favorite foes in the tournament, having been reinforced by a couple of Filipino-blooded players in Paul Zamar and the half-American Jason Brickman.

Renaldo Balkman sealed the triumph with a clutch dagger and finished with 31 points, 13 rebounds, five steals, and three blocks, while getting more than enough support from fellow import Justin Brownlee (16 pts 12 reb 8 ast 4 stl 5 blk). Maltese-Italian totem pole and Mono reinforcement Sam Deguara's (7'5") 21 markers and 15 boards went for naught.

The duel didn't end above the rim, though, as both teams brought a lot of heat on the court through their in-game sneaker fashion:
