More proof of his greatness: Wall has been selected as the starting guard for the Eastern Conference in the 2015 NBA All-Star Game (February 15 in New York City). He also has his own signature shoe called the adidas J Wall 1 and as we all know, only the cream of the hoops crop deserve to have their own brand of footwear.
Check it out:
Available since October of last year here in the Philippines, the J Wall 1 serves is the All-Star playmaker's first-ever signature shoe. And to commemorate John Wall's inclusion into the East All-Stars' starting lineup, adidas decided to unveil the All-Star edition of the shoe, the J Wall 1 NYC All-Star:
It sports a somewhat similar overall look to the standard J Wall 1, only this time around the color scheme is in gold, black, and white for a cleaner, more premium-looking facade. It also has white leather snakeskin texture around the laces, on top of the shoe's tongue, and on the ankle portion.
The J Wall 1 NYC All-Star might look a bit different color-wise compared to the default version, but it still has the same full-length adiprene+ midsole that provides better cushioning, responsiveness, and heel-to-toe traction to make the shoe more than just a nice piece of footwear eye-candy.
If you don't like its look though, maybe the new DC Blue version will be more to your liking. Take a look:
