Last month, Dwyane Wade signed a lifetime deal with Chinese sporting brand Li-Ning, who he has been endorsing since 2012. While his NBA future isn't exactly clear, what's sure is that Wade's mission to create a legacy is complete—he'll forever be associated with Li-Ning as their main man from now on. However, would he—or would you—want to be associated with these?
The Wade Essence II has a less perfect name than the Way of Wade and its delightful "WOW" abbreviation, but we see where they were going with the first few versions. An ode to the sock shoe trend:
The remixed "NYFW" version though is something that split sneakerhead opinions.
Real talk: some folks won't give experimentation like this a pass simply because Li-Ning just isn't as "cool" a brand as the rest. Li-Ning sells them straight off Aliexpress, but if ordering anything off that site always made your sketchy sense tingle, they're available locally too, check them out in person at TITAN and see if they trigger your copping tendencies!
