Aside from being the season for Mankinis, summer is the only time you could go all-out with colors. Want to pair that yellow shirt with your red pants and green shoes? Sure, why not. It’s your reputation…
Okay, maybe it’s not wise to go with too many colors. But what we’re saying is, if you’re the type of man who likes experimenting with hues on your clothes, now up until rain starts bombarding us again is the moment to. And you should probably start mixing and matching with your shoes.
Here now is FHM’s Guide to the Psychology of Colors. Not only do we tell you when to wear them (for example, don RED if you want to feel bold), we’ll also show you the finest nonwhite kicks around town. Scroll down below for the tutorial!
RED = AMBITION
Be a man of danger as you don the color of blood and fire. Red screams of passion, desire, and lust. Not for the weary wallflower.
Wear this when: You want to feel bold, stand out, and grab your office crush’s attention.

Wear this when: On that first job interview. Show your future employer that you can have grace under pressure.
