During the game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Detroit Pistons on Monday, LeBron James introduced the Nike LeBron Watch through one of campaign's exclusive sneaker releases, the "Waffle Trainer."
His team lost, 125-114, but fans still had something to get excited about. Five Player Editions (PE) of The King's latest signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 15, which aren't originally made available to the public, can now be purchased via the SNKRS app every time he plays in them.
The new sillhuottes are Lebron's way of honoring the legendary sportsmen he admired, as well as his tribute to iconic Nike models. From baseball superstar Ken Griffey, Jr. to the Nike Air Diamond Turf, he had a special design for each career inspiration.
"When I was a kid, the athletes and the shoes represented in this series inspired me to chase my dream of one day becoming a professional athlete," says James in a news release. "It's important to me to share these stories and inspiration with my fans. I want them to be a part of every step of my journey, so I'm excited we’re making these shoes available to them."
