Remember how hard it is to pick out a New Balance pair? Well, the boys from Boston have just made it easier by releasing their ode to the '90s and the 99x series and naming it the X-90. Now that's easy enough to remember when you head to the store, aside from the fact that this shoe really pops out.
The New Balance X-90 has a sleek and modern upper shape, reminscent of the 247, constructed with contemporary knit material. It's also got that stretch booty collar for easy slip-on action. Beneath all that, it offers a chunky, oversized sole and tooling that takes inspiration from pairs like the 993 and 997. Finishing it all off is a subtler, smaller N logo, which is how they did it back in the day, young man. The lead colorway is in insta-buy white, but they've also got a trio of darker paintjobs ready.
The X-90 retails for P5,995 and is available at a select squad of stockists: New Balance in Glorietta IV, The Athlete's Foot in Rockwell, Sole Academy at BHS, Sneakpeek at Alabang Town Center, and Capital in Glorietta.
