Inspired by the basketball courts of Venice Beach in California, American sneaker website Nice Kicks has teamed up with Adidas Originals to create special colorways of two sneakers and a retro tracksuit.
They put their own spin on Adidas’ most recent old-new sneakers (i.e., old models that have been retooled to suit contemporary tastes), the Adidas Crazy 1 ADV and Crazy 8 ADV; as well as the Three Stripes’ Tironti tracksuit. All sport pink, purple, and aqua against white—an intentional nod to the flashy basketball threads of the early '90s.
You might remember the Crazy 1 as the Kobe Bryant signature that was once really heinously ugly. Along with its high-top brother, the Crazy 8, it was revamped last year..
The collection released in the U.S. three weeks ago, but arrived on our shores just yesterday. All three pieces are available at Commonwealth, Greenbelt 5. The Adidas Crazy 8 ADV retails for P13,500, the Adidas Crazy 1 ADV retails for P11,900, the Tironti Track Top retails for P7,000, and the Tironti Track Pant retails for P5,200.
