Kevin Durant isn't having the best of seasons this year but that hasn't stopped Nike from putting out new colorways of his signature kicks, the KD7. Nor has Durant's foot ailments prevented us from wanting to put on his shoe.
This brings us to this: the KD7 "Weatherman" colorway, which comes out here tomorrow, March 5.
Check it out:
The Weatherman is said to represent Durant's fascination with meteorology. The green upper pays homage to newsroom green screens used by meteorologists while the shoe's Hyperposite heel, swoosh, and outsole are wrapped by graphics inspired by the weatherman's weapon of choice, the Doppler Radar.
The shoe is the successor to the KD4 Weatherman released in 2011, pictured below:
So sneaker freaks, is this fly enough or not? Below are a few more photos to help you decide. Our advice: Cop it if your favorite jersey for balling happens to be this one; and don't, if you experience seizures with such bright patterns and color combinations.
Also a reason not to cop: If you don't have P7,995 on hand, which is what the sneakers will cost.
The Nike KD7 "Weatherman" will be available in the Titan store in 2Parkade, Katipunan, Ronac, Molito, Glorietta, Taft, Fort, MOA, Gateway, Greenbelt, North EDSA, Festival Mall, Galleria; Nike Stadium in EDSA Shangri-la, Top in Greenhills, Scenter in Mandurria, and Zone in SM Pampanga.
