While the entire NBA is mired in dispute over the issue of resting players, local sneakerheads are in a positive mood following the arrival of a specific merchandise from one of the players involved: the Nike LeBron 14.

The latest signature shoe of superstar LeBron James dubbed as 'Chase Down' was unveiled during the Come Out Of Nowhere Experience at the Kerry Sports Manila in Taguig.

FHM was among those given the chance to try out a pair in the training camp of sorts, and we noticed that the basketball star basically personifies the eponymous shoe through these shared qualities:

The Black and Ice colorway is as simple as it gets, with the speckled midsole its most conspicuous detail. Unlike the futuristic designs of those that came before it, the minimalist look of the 'Chase Down' makes it a fairly decent casual shoe. The King, one the other hand, has actually watered down his game, despite his 10 triple-doubles this season.



LeBrons are known to be chunky and boxy—certainly not everyone's cup of tea. Taking cues from the man's astounding weight management, the 14 is a cut above its predecessors, thanks to the buoyant composition: stretchy lining, perforated foam, and thin mesh.
