It's the new year, and foshizzle, one of your resolutions is to get fit. Or at least have that active lifestyle everyone seems to be talking about. [firstpara]

Perhaps these new Nike LeBron James signature shoes can inspire you.

The eighth of the series, the Lebron 8 is a basketball shoe through and through: It has Nike's famous Flywire technology for fit and control, and is built on the Max Air 360 for the ultimate cushioning and impact protection.

This is a mid-cut shoe, with increased height differential between collar and heel for better lockdown action and Achilles flexion.

It has a fully integrated seamless mesh innersleeve for breathability and comfort.

But it doesn't end there. This is a pair of LeBrons, mind. So, of course, the LeBron 8 echoes LeBron's style. It has an all-natural leather upper, for one that calls to mind the classic dress shoe. And it has a tongue-black label, which nods to bespoke off-court attire, highlights the crafted nature of LeBron 8.

But before we go further with all this off-court brouhaha, Nike spells LeBron's game front and center.  The Lion emblem is there to represent LeBron's ravenous "hunter on the court" nature. The famous swoosh has been moved toward the rear of the shoe, representing Lebron's speed on-court.

The lightweight, multidirectional herringbone pattern is specifically designed for LeBron's first step and quick cuts.

The LeBron 8 is available at all Nike Park outlets for P7,495.
