So far, the chunky shoe trend shows no signs of slowing down just yet and it's even influencing other mainstream models—witness the the Nike Air Max 270 for example. But aside from that, the guys at the Swoosh have been busy making LeBron some new shoes and haven't really dropped a bomb on the dad shoe game. The time has come: witness the Nike M2K Tekno.
An update of the Air Monarch from 2002, which every online list will tell you is the ur-dad sneaker (including ours of course), the M2K keeps the same basic silhouette but is built on a narrower last to give it a slightly more toned and sexier dad bod. Meanwhile, a downsized Swoosh and contrast-colored heel clip are responsible for a dose of modernity.

However, the biggest surprise is that the M2K is actually a women's model. So that actually makes it a mom shoe if you want to be pedantic. Not like you can really tell by the design, but that does mean you're limited to a 10.5–aka a women's size 12–for copping.
And we thought this launch colorway was just a millenial pink thing
The men's version is scheduled to drop later on July 1, but the good news is that with a price of $100 (or around P5000 when local retailers bring it in this month) then it won't be such a financial risk to buy “girl” shoes if you want an early in!
