It's that time of the year again when big time shoe brands unveil drool-worthy holiday editions of their most popular kicks. Case in point: Nike has just revealed their Christmas 2015 basketball sneakers.

Take a look:

This year's release includes redesigned versions of the Kobe X, KD8, Kyrie 2, and LeBron 13. According to Nike, the collection was inspired by two contrasting elements: fire and ice. "Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and LeBron James receive festive signature sneakers at a time when the hardcourt is heating up and the outdoor temperature is dropping," the brand said in a statement.

Anyway, let's stop chillin' and look at each hot pair closer now, shall we?

The holiday edition of the Kobe X comes with a multicolor Flyknit upper and five ring icons on the heel. The flashy look is a nod towards the Black Mamba's fiery skills and championship pedigree.

While the Kobe X is all about visually heating up the hardcourt, the Kyrie 2 looks to cool things down with a facade inspired by the abominable snowman. The embossed zigzag graphics was inspired by the mythical creature's legend while the transparent outsole points to its habitat: the icy wastes of the north.

The holiday edition of the KD8, according to Nike, is a mix of "naughty and nice." It sports a white lateral side (the nice part) contrasted by a red-black medial graphic incorporated into the Flyweave upper (the naughty part). The midsole also boasts of a cracked texture representing hot coal.

Last but not the least, we have the Christmas version of the LeBron 13. The shoe is certainly the "iciest" of the bunch. Its blue-white appearance was inspired by the fierce winters in the American Midwest. To add more holiday vibe to the package, Nike included a shattered icy "13" logo on the heel area and Christmas visuals on the laces.

Those looking to cop these festive kicks will have to wait after Christmas though as they'll be available globally on the 26th via at still undisclosed prices.
