Remember when we said that see-through kicks could be the next big thing? Well, Nike seems to be on the same wavelength based on their recently unveiled React Element 87. Using the same sole as the Epic React runner, they drilled pockets and caverns in the foam to improve comfort whether you're standing in place for a shoefie or actually out on a run.
The real big thing about them, though, is the very strong Off-White deconstructed vibe. Raw, exposed looking stitching? Check. Ghostly, predominantly white launch colorway? Yup. See-through material? You can't miss it. A hyped model serving as inspiration for a general release is nothing new—and a smart business move—but we still didn't quite expect this to happen so soon.
If you've always wanted one of "The Ten" but balked at their ridiculous resale price, your time is now. These are expected to retail for $160 when they drop on June 21, but it'll probably take a bit more time for them to make their way to our shores. Start saving for this and some swaggy socks!
