The new styles highlight the shoe's signature lightweight running silhouette, which was inspired by Japanese bullet trains. These sneakers first hit the stores in 1997. Now, 20 years later, it’s back on the market, through this major drop that has everyone excited for next month.
The release will start with Air Max 97 OG black and white, followed by pink and beige versions of it. Nike will also be introducing the Air Max 97 Ultra, which is slated to be the most lightweight version of the shoe. The styles will be available starting August 1 (abroad). The global release will be on August 17.
