Opening day for the 2017 PBA Governors' Cup didn't feature the more popular teams in the league—well, except for Alaska—so this kind of turnout was somewhat expected:

Still, the local players and towering imports displayed the same intensity in front of a packed crowd, with the NLEX Road Warriors and the Phoenix Fuel Masters coming out on top against the Alaska Aces and the Kia Picanto, respectively. And that level of dedication was also eveident in their on-court fashion.

If there's one thing fans have missed out on by not watching these less-heralded matchups live, it's the parade of sexy in-game kicks.
