Lost in the recent UAAP hoops war was the silent contest between the respective sneaker games of the De La Salle Green Archers and eventual champions Ateneo Blue Eagles. Other than the rivaling schools' iconic jerseys, what the players wore on their feet during the rubber match for the title defined each team's performance in the on-court fashion department. Well, that and their skills, of course.

Interestingly enough, looking at ADMU and DLSU's basketball shoe preference, there seems to be a role reversal. Unlike their team-centric gameplay, the Season 80 champs opted for different kicks, with each player sporting a unique pair. While La Salle, popular for their players' individual game, opted for a uniform approach to their footwear. 


We've seen last season's champs live and die by iso-ball; the same cannot be said about their collective footwear of choice: Nike LeBron 14 in team colors.
