ICYMI: Pensole Footwear Design Academy together with Foot Locker is currently having the 2016 World Sneaker Championship (WSC), and the Philippines is part of the sole-tastic affair.

For those not in the know, the WSC aims to discover and showcase future designers and their designs in the footwear industry. Pensole accepted design submissions from around the world from February 5 to March 6, and chose the 64 best ones, which will then be pitted against each other in a single elimination, round-by-round format. A lot is at stake here: Aside from bragging rights and national pride, the final winner will bring home over $20,000 (over P900,000) and his/her design will be made into a real product that will be sold in select Foot Locker outlets.

So, how about we help a fellow sneaker-loving kababayan out? You can start by voting here. Note that the voting period for the first round ends today, so don't be a slouch about it, mkay?
