The Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo is basically the marathon-winning pro model Zoom Vaporfly Elite without the carbon-fiber plate. You can't see it from the outside, but let us remind you how the Elite looked like:
Now, that piece of tech wasn't removed because the Pegasus Turbo is some cheap mass market model or that you aren't elite enough. It was left at home since the Elite's actual-pro-marathon-running-owners themselves deemed the carbon-fiber's snappy response unnecessary outside a race day environment. So with the Pegasus, you still get that ZoomX foam response in a shoe that's comfy enough to pound the pavement in daily.
It also looks very sexy. We're really digging the 3D-effect of the swoosh that dips into the midsole. Like on the Elite and the Off-White Blazer, this is oversizing your logo done right—it also looks really cool in motion and from a distance.
The thick racing stripe is another design element we're ready to see more of too—if you're not into color blocking, then breaking apart a clean silhouette with strong graphic elements like what Nike has been doing on several new models might be the design language for you.
